In the hall of the Faculty of Electronics, at the exhibition accompanying the Conference, visitors could see elements of a private 5G network at our company's stand. The network combines laboratory solutions with RAN and CORE components from various suppliers. The private network offered by Systemics-PAB enables the presentation and testing of solutions for industry, academia, transport, defence and public safety in real-world conditions. We gave visitors to our stand a live demonstration of how such a base station and Stand Alone 5G private network terminals work. We also presented hybrid solutions, i.e. laboratory equipment and software that enables the launch of private networks for the purposes of cooperation between universities and local governments in order to implement joint projects/consulting, e.g. in the field of building solutions in the area of Smart City or Industry 4.0.
During the company session, we presented three presentations led by our specialists. Horst Fellner from Viavi Solutions, of which Systemics-PAB is a partner, presented the state of scientific and commercial research on 6G technology from a European and international perspective. Director Dariusz Zmysłowski, a specialist in GNSS systems, talked about how to protect against jamming and its effects. The problem of GNSS signal interference is particularly important for the Gdańsk Bay area due to its proximity to Russian forces. Finally, Director Leszek Wojdalski spoke about the prospects for the development of private 5G networks in the FR2 band (above 24 GHz).
