The objectives of the training Fundamentals of ASME BPVC Code Section III Division 1 (virtual classroom) :
Rules for Construction of Nuclear Facility Components
• The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), Section III, Division 1 (often abbreviated as ASME III Div. 1) is a U.S. and international standard dedicated to nuclear equipment design and manufacture.
• To provide initial knowledge to future users involved in the design and manufacturing of nuclear equipment under ASME III Div. 1.

• Context of the code: understand the structure of the code, its scope, its issues, the actors.
• Introduction to the American regulatory framework, quality standards, and their interactions.
• To develop concrete skills through practical exercises in order to carry out inspections.
• Understand the structure and fundamental requirements of ASME III Div.1. In particular:
- § NB — Class 1 Components
- § NCD — Class 2 and Class 3 Components
- § NE — Class MC Components
- § NF — Supports
- § NG — Core Support Structures
For who ?
• Level IV diploma
• General knowledge of pressure equipment or mechanical equipment and the operation of a nuclear power plant
• Have a computer with internet connection for each trainee
