Goals

The objectives of the training Fundamentals of Nuclear Quality Assurance NQA-1 (virtual classroom) :

The NQA-1 standard: its fundamentals and the specific requirements it sets for products and services important to nuclear safety
To provide initial knowledge to future inspectors and quality personnel involved in services related to nuclear safety

Program

• Understand the environment in which nuclear quality requirements are set.
• Introduction to the American regulatory framework, quality standards, and their interactions.
• Understand the structure and fundamental requirements of ASME NQA-1, and in particular the 18 specific requirements of this standard.
• Summarize the role of quality and the ISO 19443 standard
• To develop concrete skills through practical exercises in order to carry out inspections.
